Lord of Toil Flower Farm is a husband and wife team here in the PNW. We started Lord of Toil Flower Farm to grow flowers for our wedding. Everyone thought we were crazy, but we grew from seed and tubers enough flowers and fillers for 15 centerpieces, 105 bud vases, 11 aisle markers, an arch, bouquet and boutonnière (I’m tired just typing this). Through the process of growing all these vibrant, precious plants over the years sparked a love of flower farming and custom floristry.

We specialize in growing dahlias, zinnias, cosmos (my fav), marigolds and more! There’s nothing like seeing a field full of dahlias in bloom for the first time each season. Ryan’s favorite dahlias are Sugartown Sunrise and Pink Sylvia. Mikala’s favorite dahlias include Bloomquist Tory P and Levi’s Blue Smoke (but the list can go on and on).

There is a reason the flowers you buy from local growers smell stronger and last longer! It’s grown and harvested here in the PNW, there’s no middle man. Store bought flowers are often highly processed and transported nationally or internationally, and sometimes are a little worse for wear. You’ll feel and see the difference when you shop local. You can expect fresh stems, bouncy designs, and thoughtful, unique designs from Lord of Toil every time.
